The Founder - Michelle Crook

Michelle, the founder and director of Reactiv8, has worked in education for approximately 16 years working at all levels, including senior management, with a background in Physical Education.  In 2006, she became one of Bedfordshire's youngest Assistant Head teachers at a local Bedford Borough Upper School managing Student Support Services with overall responsibility for Behaviour and Attendance.  Through her experience of seeing young people being excluded from the education system, coupled with young people still in education who have no aspiration, self belief, direction or goals in life, Reactiv8 was born.  Reactiv8 provides young people with an opportunity to get switched back on to learning, education and training, giving young people a chance to fulfil their true potential and become a valued member of society.  Not only does Reactiv8 work with young people of school age but also delivers programmes to those up to and including 25 years old. 

Michelle is passionate about transforming the lives of others by helping and encouraging them to be the best they can be.  She delivers a mentoring programme that works with her clients to instil self-confidence and self-belief.  The programme confronts existing perceptions, challenges clients to take control of their future, and supports them into a more positive pathway, whilst at the same time raising aspiration.  Michelle always works with honesty and integrity and has the clients' best interests at heart.  She has excellent inter-personal skills and forges good working relationships with all.  She understands and recognises that communication is a vital element for success of all.  Her management style ensues transparency and reflects her ability to deliver successful solutions.

Michelle is also a member of The Professional Speakers Academy (PSA) following her attendance at the Professional Speakers University (PSU).  She is mentored by one of the UK's leading professional speakers, Andy Harrington, who supports her growth and development in this field of work.
